City Council

The City of West Point is governed by a Mayor and six member elected Council. These officials are elected to staggered four terms.  In order to operate more efficiently, the City Council members are organized into six standing committees of two Council members each.  Under their direction, the City Manager oversees the operations of the various City departments.

Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month in Council Chambers at West Point City Hall at 6:00 pm.  The public is welcome to attend these meetings.
