2010 FALL ACTIVITIES

West Point Parks and Recreation Department will hold fall registration for the following activities, July 26^th - August 20^th, 2010, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, at the Recreation Department Office. (Last Day of Registration will be Saturday, August 21^st, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

FOOTBALL:
Football will be conducted at the West Point Football Field beginning in September. Registration fees are $30.00 per child.
CHEERLEADING:
Cheerleading will be conducted at the West Point Football Field beginning in September. Registration fees are $30.00 per child.
SOCCER:
Soccer will be conducted at the West Point Softball Field beginning in September. Registration fees are $30.00 per child.
SOCCER CLINIC:
Youth Soccer Clinic will be held at West Point Softball Field on September 7, 2010. The clinic is open to all of our youth soccer participants.
ZUMBA CLASSES:
Zumba Classes will be conducted at the West Point Recreation Activity Room. The cost is $5 per class to be paid at the door or $40.00 per month for 10 (ten) classes at $4.00 a class. The classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays for one (1) hour from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Christy Coleman, Instructor.
INTRODUCTION TO BALLROOM DANCING
Why sit out at special occasions when you could be dancing the night away? For couples who want to lace up their dancing shoes, Bill Adams, former owner of The Ballroom in Columbus, GA, makes the learning experience easy and natural. We will show you the secrets of leading or following in partners dancing, along with how to adapt your steps on a crowded dance floor. Whatever the special occasion, you will appreciate your knowledge of dance to get the party started. This class is for couples only, and a certificate can be earned upon successful completion of the first five steps in each of the major dances. Couples Only.
PEPSI NFL PUNT PASS & KICK:
The Annual Punt Pass & Kick competition will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the West Point Football Field. There is no registration fee and the competition will be open for boys and girls between the ages 8 – 15.
