Office of the City Clerk

The mission of the Office of the City Clerk is to prepare and maintain records of the council and the city of West Point, including minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other documents vital to the city.

The City Clerk is also custodian of the city seal and all official records of the city. Along with the Office of City Clerk the finance and administration offices are located at West Point City Hall.

Responsibilities include all financial functions such as budgeting and accounting, as well as receipt of funds such as taxes, license fees, service charges, and utility payments. In addition to financial functions, this office also handles all administrative duties pertaining to Utilities (electricity, water, sewage, garbage pickup) customer service, and Occupational and Property Taxes.
