Administrative/Criminal Investigative Division

The Criminal Investigation Division is led by Captain Terry Hunt. The division investigates crimes including Homicide, Rape, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglaries, Thefts, Forgery & Fraud, juvenile offenses and any other crime against an individual or property.

Detectives are assigned cases that they manage, collect information and evidence for identifying, apprehending and convicting offenders. Each detective is trained to handle any kind of investigation. Routinely they are called out to assist patrol division on calls requiring the gathering of evidence and information and to determine if a crime has been committed warranting further investigation.
